Troop 65 is based in Mint Hill, NC and is sponsored by Philadelphia Presbyterian Church.  As a troop, we have achieved over 60 years of adventures in scouting while serving the Mint Hill community

Troop 65 Short History

Troop 65 is a patrol based, boy-led Troop, which strives to teach the principles of scouting with key focus on the Scout Law and Scout Oath.  We accomplish and learn through many activites including merit badges, scout outings, rank advancement, community service, summer camp and more.

Currently Troop 65 is over 55+! boys strong who are aided by adult scouters, the the "Old Fossil" patrol, as well as an active Committee, comprised of numerous parents and adults.

Troop 65 is affiliated with Cub Pack 65, also sponsored by Philadelphia Presbyterian Church.  Troop 65 has been the beneficiary of numerous scouts from Pack 65 and is working in close alignment with the pack to ensure a successful scout program for all!!

We at Troop 65 feel that Scouting offers something for our community's youth and gives back through many ways and acts.  We are proud to share our story and our mission!!
